IDMockup was established in Taiwan in 1992 with a single mission: deliver precision physical models that match what designers and engineers actually need — not what is easy to make. Over three decades, that commitment has grown into a four-site manufacturing network spanning Taiwan, mainland China, and Thailand, serving electronics, semiconductor, automotive, medical, and industrial brands across Singapore, Japan, and beyond.
We operate under NDA from the first conversation, quote within 24 hours, and manufacture from a single piece. What has not changed since 1992 is the belief that every prototype deserves the same rigour as a production part.

Six core manufacturing processes under one roof — from 3 / 5-axis CNC machining to CMF surface finishing. No subcontracting critical steps, no quality gaps between vendors.
3 / 5-axis CNC from aluminium, ABS, PC, PMMA, and engineering resins at ±0.05mm. Wire EDM for precision inserts and tooling. Ideal for appearance models and functional fixtures.
SLA for high-res transparent parts, SLS for functional nylon, MJF for precise engineering components. 2–5 day turnaround from file to finished and primed part.
Silicone tooling with PU vacuum casting for 5–500 identical samples. Shore A/D matched to production material. RIM for large enclosures up to 1,500mm.
Rapid tooling (P20/aluminium, 1K–20K shots) and hard tooling (H13/NAK80 steel, 100K+) for ABS, PC, PP, PA66, PEEK. Insert and two-shot overmoulding available.
Aluminium (AL380, ADC12) cold-chamber and zinc (ZA8) hot-chamber die casting. T5/T6 heat treatment, CNC post-machining, and CMF for structural housings and heat sinks.
Hard anodise, powder coat, PVD, e-coat, soft-touch paint, silk screen, laser engraving, IML, leather/cloth wrap. Pantone and RAL colour-matched throughout.

IDMockup’s ESG commitments are embedded in how we source materials, protect client data, treat our people, and operate our facilities — enforced as operational standards, not adopted for appearances.
All materials are sourced from suppliers with verified compliance documentation. We provide RoHS material certification and SGS material test certificates on request for every project. Client CAD files and design data are managed on ISO-certified information security systems, protecting your intellectual property from first upload to final delivery.
Client CAD files, drawings, and specifications are handled exclusively on ISO-certified information security systems. Access is restricted to the project team only. NDA agreements are signed before any file exchange. All client data is project-segregated and permanently deleted upon request. We do not retain design IP beyond the agreed project lifecycle.
We flag DFM issues before manufacturing begins rather than after, so clients never receive surprise problems at delivery. We decline projects that require non-compliant processes, conflict material sourcing, or compromises to worker safety. Our pricing reflects real costs, not artificially suppressed figures that require corner-cutting later.
IDMockup employs all manufacturing staff under local labour law compliance at all four sites. Working hours, wages, and safety conditions meet or exceed legal requirements. We do not use child labour, forced labour, or involuntary overtime. Factory environments are maintained to safe operational standards with regular safety audits.
IDMockup is committed to responsible sourcing. We do not knowingly source or use materials containing conflict minerals (tantalum, tin, tungsten, or gold — 3TG) originating from the DRC or adjoining countries in ways that finance armed conflict. Suppliers are required to provide sourcing transparency documentation upon request.
Every design, drawing, specification, and concept shared with IDMockup remains the exclusive intellectual property of the client. We take no licence to client work, do not display client projects without written permission, and do not reference client brands in our marketing without explicit approval. Privacy obligations survive project completion indefinitely.
